As the year 2010 is coming to a close and ushering the New Year 2011, I would like to take this opportunity as the President of the APC Washington Metropolitan Chapter to wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year.
Fellow chapter members, in retrospection, the year 2010 is undoubtedly the most productive in decades as it brought an unprecedented rise in the registration of new members to the chapter. As it happened, this rise in membership also translated in the unprecedented election of the first female President of Washington APC Metropolitan Chapter. The year 2010, also saw a record number of attendees ever, in an APC Washington Metropolitan inauguration of a President.
As we set forth to starting the New Year 2011, on behalf of the executive, I am calling on all members of this august body to unit for the interest of the APC party. The task ahead of us needs undivided attention in order to bolster the positive direction in which his Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma is steering the ship of state.
I am appealing to all of you for total commitment and dedication to transform the Washington Metropolitan chapter. We will surely succeed in accomplishing our goals and objectives because I believe in leading through consultation at both the grass root and upper stratum of our community.
I pray for God's favor and anointing upon your lives and families. May the Lord grant each and everyone his or her heart's desires?
